Tobias Heimann is leading the research project BioSDG. He is primarily working with the CGE model "DART" on evaluating possible future bioeconomy and climate policy scenarios, amongst others by linking this model with a biophysical model. In particular he looks for interactions of those policies with land-use patterns, ecosystems, food security and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Tobias Heimann studied economics at the University of Marburg, followed by the master program "Development Economics" at the University of Göttingen. He completed the doctoral program "Quantitative Economics" and recieved the doctoral degree from Kiel University.
