The Covid-19 crisis is a highly asymmetric one where cities are the epicenter of the crisis but not the main decision- makers. Different social groups are hit very unequally and there is a high risk of further fragmentation of the society. As the G20 Italian presidency is putting social issues and inclusiveness among its priorities, this is the right time to pay more attention to community resilience as a global question.
