Project

Research Network Sustainable Global Supply Chains

Start of Project: 01.08.2020 — End of Project: 31.07.2025

Global production is increasingly organized in global supply chains, which affect economies, societies and the environment in many ways. Existing low labor standards and environmental degradation have led to calls for making global supply chains more sustainable. However, governing global supply chains in a sustainable way requires a detailed understanding of their structures and involved actors as well as policies affecting them.
The international Research Network Sustainable Global Supply Chains aims to contribute to the sustainability of global supply chains through research. It initiates new research and makes academic evidence accessible for political decision-makers and other stakeholders.
