Title and Abstract

Supply chains rely on antiquated and fragmented tracking systems whose fragility has been exposed by the COVID crisis. Blockchains are often heralded as the most promising solution for the digitalization of supply chain networks. We will assess their promises and provide some explanations as to why adoption has been slower than expected.
