Since October 2023 in the President's Team and responsible for the research project Greix – German Real Estate Index. My research interests are macroeconomics and financial markets with a special focus on housing markets. I received my Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Cologne and my Master's degree in Economics from the University of Oslo. I also spent time at the University of Pennsylvania (USA), the Humboldt University of Berlin and the University of Otago (New Zealand). Since 2019 I am a doctoral candidate in Economics at the University of Cologne. Between 2020 and 2023, I was part of the YEP program (https://econtribute.de/de/young-econtribute-program/ ) of the joint Cluster of Excellence ECONtribute of the Universities of Bonn and Cologne. As part of this activity, I became part of the Greix research project in early 2022 and was thus also employed at the University of Bonn between October 2022 and September 2023.
