Alina Mulyukova joined the Kiel Institute for the World Economy and the interdisciplinary Kiel Centre for Globalization (KCG) as a Doctoral researcher in June 2020. She is a member of the Research Center International Trade and Investment and part of the research team in a new KCG Research Project on the Impact of Special Economic Zones on Inequality.
Alina studied Economics at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich at a Master’s level and at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki at a Bachelor’s level. Before joining the Institute, Alina worked as a research assistant at the Center for Industrial Organization and New Technologies at ifo Institute and at Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition.
Her primary research interests are empirical international economics, activities of multinational companies and firm productivity dynamics.
