Effects of the gender quota for stock-listed companies: an outlook for Germany (in German)
The authors David Pipke and Gert Pönitzsch discuss the probable impact of the envisaged gender quota for German stock-listed companies on their performance. Based on Norwegian experience, they expect declining profits and firm values at least in the short run, but also an increased intensity of monitoring done by the board.
