Global Business Expectations and Economic Activity

The IfW-indicator of global business expectations summarizes survey-based data on business expectations from 42 countries, using purchasing power parity weights. It is calculated on a monthly basis and used as an early indicator for global activity. Further, similar indices are calculated for 33 industrial countries and 9 emerging economies, respectively.
