Leonie Meissner studied Economics (B.Sc) at the Univeristy of Augbsurg and Environmental and Resource Economics (M.Sc) at Kiel University. During her Master's degree she already worked as a graduate assistant at the Kiel Institute and as of May 2021 she is a doctoral student at the research center "Global Commons and Climate Policy". As part of her promotion, she investigates the effect of innovation policy instruments on CO2 reductions both theoretically and empirically.
