The research focus of Lukas Menkhoff is on International Finance and Financial Development. At the Kiel Institute for the World Economy he is active in the supervision of younger researchers. Previously, Lukas Menkhoff served as a professor at the Christian-Albrechts-University of Kiel (joint appointment with the Kiel Institute for the World Economy), the Leibniz University of Hannover, and the RWTH Aachen University.
