In tandem with the current climate talks in Glasgow (COP26), Aoife Hanley and her co-author Limin DU (Zheijiang University, China) draw  on their research experience of China's carbon footprint, to write an opinion piece for the Deutscher Mittelstands-Bund (DMB). Highlights include evaluating how China's controversial Belt and Road Initiative work together with German container shipping to reduce carbon emissions.
