International Visiting Professorships at the Kiel Institute
International networking is of central importance to the Kiel Institute for the World Economy due to its thematic focus on global issues. It also reflects the claim to conduct internationally visible and recognized research.
As part of the Visiting Professorship Program launched in 2025, outstanding scholars from Germany and abroad are given the opportunity, by invitation, to spend a flexible research period at the Institute. They collaborate closely with the research teams.
Through their thematic and methodological expertise and active engagement in academic exchange, visiting professors enrich the work of the Institute’s research centers and further strengthen its international orientation.
