Kaspar Zimmermann is Professor of International Macroeconomics and Finance at the University of Hamburg and Head of the Research Group “Firms, Finance, and the Macroeconomy” at the Kiel Institute for the World Economy. Before his current position, he was an Assistant Professor of Finance at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management and as Postdoctoral Researcher at the Leibniz Institute for Financial Research SAFE. He earned his PhD in Economics from the University of Bonn.
