Timo Hoffmann has been a member of the Research Center Business Cycle and Growth since August 2022 and is mainly responsible for medium-term forecasting and estimating potential output. Previously, he studied Economics in his Bachelor's degree and Quantitative Economics in his Master's degree at Kiel University. Intermediate stops have already led him to the Kiel Institute as a student assistant and as an intern in the business cycle working group of the German Council of Economic Experts. His research interests lie in the area of business cycle analysis, empirical modelling and time series econometrics.
