Maik Wolters is Professor of Macroeconomics at Friedrich-Schiller-University Jena and a Research Fellow in the Forecasting Center and the Research Area Macroeconomic Policy under Market Imperfections at the Kiel Institute for the World Economy. He is also a Research Fellow at the Institute for Monetary and Financial Stability at Goethe-University Frankfurt. He completed his Ph.D. in 2010 under the supervision of Volker Wieland at Goethe-University Frankfurt. Afterwards he visited the Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research and was Assistant Professor of Macroeconomics at the University of Kiel and the Kiel Institute for the World Economy. Maik Wolters research focusses on monetary macroeconomics and he has published many articles in international academic journals.
