Benjamin Wache joined the research center International Finance and Macroeconomics in September 2021. His main research interests are international financial markets, economic geography, geopolitics, and economic history. Previously, he studied economics at the Universities of Bayreuth and Munich, as well as at the Kiel Institute (ASP), and at Columbia University. In addition to his work at the Kiel Institute, he is a doctoral student at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and the Tinbergen Institute.
