Kiel Institute for the World Economy appoints Jürgen Stehn Head of Economic Policy Analyses
Dr Jürgen Stehn, Head of the Public Relations Centre for many years and Press Spokesman of the Kiel Institute for the World Economy (IfW), moved to the Presidential Department of the IfW, where he will be responsible for coordinating the economic policy analyses prepared by the IfW.
In addition, he will be responsible for steering the activities associated with the Global Economy Prize awarded by the IfW. Prior to his tenure as Press Spokesman, Dr Stehn had been engaged in IfW research and was in charge of the research group “International Economics and Structural Change" for over 12 years. At the same time, he was actively engaged in economic policy consultancy, responsible for structural reporting by the IfW to the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs for many years.
