Understanding the Structural Forces of Globalisation

Our aim is to draw a more comprehensive picture of the structural changes caused by globalisation, addressing questions such as: How does globalization affect industrial structures and trade patterns of countries and regions? What are the implications of globalisation for labour markets, the distribution of income, and aggregate productivity? In which way does globalisation and technological change affect the economic and social circumstances of life? How successful are countries in adjusting to globalisation pressures and who is bearing the associated adjustment costs?
