Macroeconomic Policies: Challenges for the 2020s

09 - 11 Jul 2019

As global uncertainty remains high in an environment of much higher private and public debt than we had in the past, it is important to look at how the history of financial crises can provide relevant lessons for today and how up-to-date macroeconomic methods help to address the policy challenges of the 2020s. The aim of the summer school is to consider these various issues by inviting two leading researchers Marco del Negro from the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and Albrecht Ritschl from the London School of Economics and Political Science.

The speakers

  • Marco del Negro (FED)
  • Albrecht Ritschl (LSE)
