The Robert Bosch Stiftung GmbH is one of the big, business-related foundations in Europe. In its non-profit work, it addresses social issues at an early stage and develops exemplary solutions. For this purpose, it develops own projects and carries them through. It also promotes initiatives by third parties that match their goals.

The Robert Bosch Stiftung is active in the fields of health, science, society, education and international understanding. In the coming years, it will also focus its activities more on three areas:

The Robert Bosch Stiftung is committed to the values ​​and role model of its founder, Robert Bosch, and continues its philanthropic work. With more than 50 years of experience, it has extensive knowledge in its areas of development, the skills needed to develop solutions, and an extensive network of partners, experts and practitioners.

The Robert Bosch Stiftung is the sole sponsor of the Robert Bosch Hospital and the associated research institutes in Stuttgart, Institute for the History of Medicine (IGM) and Dr. Ing. Margarethe Fischer-Bosch-Institute for Clinical Pharmacology (IKP), as well as the International Alumni Center (iac) in Berlin. It is a shareholder of the UWC Robert Bosch College in Freiburg and the German School Academy in Berlin. The Robert Bosch Stiftung owns about 92 percent of the shares in Robert Bosch GmbH and is funded by the dividends it receives from this investment. Since its founding in 1964, the Robert Bosch Stiftung has spent more than € 1.4 billion on its charitable work.

As a partner of the Kiel Institute, the Robert Bosch Stiftung supports the Global Solutions Initiative.
