I’m head of Macroeconomic Research and Deputy Director of the Research Center Business Cycles and Growth. Having graduated with a Ph.D. from the university of St. Gallen in 2005, I’m with the Kiel Institute since 2008. My main interests of research lie in macroeconomic policy, labor markets and the dynamics of international trade. I’m also co-organizer of the Leibniz-network ‚Ensuring Economic and Employment Stability’ and associate editor of the Journal of Money, Credit, and Banking.
