After studying Economics (B.Sc.) and Quantitative Economics (M.Sc.) at the Kiel University I joined the Kiel Institute for the World Economy in 2015 as Ph.D. Researcher. Since 2015 I am also enrolled in the Ph.D. Programme Quantitative Economics at the Kiel University under supervision of Prof. Holger Görg and Prof. Sebastian T. Braun (University of Bayreuth).
I work on a research project that analyses the economic effects of the mass immigration of ethnic German refugees and their integration in West Germany between 1945 and 1970 funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG). In general, my research addresses questions concerning regional development, migration, and international economics.
