Nils Sonnenberg is working as an economist at the Business Cycles and Growth Research Center since December 2021. He is a doctoral student at the Institute for Economic Policy at the University of Leipzig and is currently an Adam Smith Fellow at the Mercatus Center at George Mason University. In the spring semester 2021 he was also a Don Lavoie Fellow there. He received his Master of Science in Economics from the University of Muenster. His studies were complemented by stays abroad in Buenos Aires and Bilbao.
