We are pleased to announce the 14th Nordic Conference on Behavioral and Experimental Economics. The conference will be hosted at the Kiel Institute for World Economy on the 27th and 28th September 2019.

The Nordic Conference on Behavioral and Experimental Economics (NCBEE) is a conference series that has been created with the goal of bringing Scandinavian scholars together with scholars from other countries to promote exchange and discussions. Our conference this year wants to add an additional interdisciplinary exchange by opening the conference to (social-) psychologists and all social scientists. We believe that this exchange of perspectives is fruitful because there exists a clear similarity of interests across disciplines, for instance on topics such as cooperation and trust. We therefore believe that the understanding of many topics can thus be increased through this inter-disciplinary exchange.

We are honored to have as keynote speakers Paul van Lange, from the Vrije University Amsterdam, Ingvild Almås, from the Institute for International Economic Studies (IIES) and FAIR center of excellence, NHH, Manfred Milinski from the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Biology and Kiel University, and Jonathan de Quidt, from the Institute for International Economic Studies (IIES), CESifo, and CAGE.

We encourage submissions of behavioral and experimental papers coming from every branch of Economics, including, but not limited to: game theory, risk and uncertainty, bounded rationality, health, management, and industrial organization and we also encourage submissions of behavioral and experimental papers from all social sciences.

There will be a conference fee of 150 € and participants need to cover their own travel and accommodation expenses.
