Public Relations Center
The Public Relations Center communicates the research findings of the Kiel Institute to the media and the general public. It is the central contact partner for external inquiries about the research activities and the events taking place at the institute. The Public Relations Center
- monitors the publications of the Kiel Institute,
- observes the current discussion in the media and in politics,
- publishes press releases,
- directs media inquiries to Kiel Institute experts,
- holds close contact to the media,
- develops new instruments of media work,
- collects the press monitor of the Kiel Institute,
- runs the central e-mail account of the Kiel Institute (),
- publishes online essays by researchers of the Kiel Institute ("Kiel Institute Focus"),
- publishes the ifw brief, the Kiel Institute's newsletter,
- publishes the IfW-Highlights,
- publishes and actualizes the flyer of the Kiel Institute,
- is responsible for the branding of the Kiel Institute,
- coordinates the contents of the Homepage of the Kiel Institute's Website,
- coordinates (in cooperation with the President and the Fundraising Center) the award of the Kiel Institute Global Economy Prize, and
- coordinates the public relations activities of the Global Economic Symposium.
