IfW Press Release April 27, 2006

Leading Thinkers at the Kiel Institute

The Kiel Institute has initiated an ongoing series of events called “Leading Thinkers in Global Economic Affairs“.

The program is meant to provide a forum for learning, discussion and debate on fundamental policy problems facing the global economy. These problems may arise from the process of globalization or represent common challenges facing countries around the world.

The program assembles economists who have made an outstanding contribution in formulating new policy responses to global challenges, but whose ideas have not yet been transported into policy making practice.

The Kiel Institute will continue its LEADING THINKERS series on Wednesday, May 10, 2006.

In 2006 the Leading Thinkers series will focus on
