Am Donnerstag, dem 30. Juni 2005, startete das Institut für Weltwirtschaft eine neue Vortrags- und Diskussionsplattform unter dem Titel
Leading Thinkers in Global Economic Affairs.
Den Schwerpunkt im Jahr 2005 bildet das Thema
Financial Innovation and the World Economy.
Als „leading thinkers" haben mit
zwei der originellsten Köpfe der weltwirtschaftlichen Forschung ihre Ideen in Festvorlesungen präsentiert. Die Festvorlesungen mit anschließender Diskussion fanden statt: Prof. Graciela Chichilnisky, Ph.D., Columbia University und
Prof. Robert Shiller, Ph.D., Yale University,
