Fifth Global Economic Symposium in Rio de Janeiro
The Global Economic Symposium (GES) was held this year in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on 16–17 October 2012, where more than 600 experts from all over the world met to discuss and find possible solutions to global problems. Bertelsmann Stiftung and IfW Sign Cooperative Agreement
The Bertelsmann Stiftung and the Kiel Institute for the World Economy (IfW) will now be collaborating to organize the Global Economic Symposium (GES). The agreement for this long-term partnership was recently signed by Dr. Gunter Thielen, chairman and CEO of the Bertelsmann Stiftung, and Prof. Dennis J.
