Baba N. Kalyani

Baba N. Kalyani (born 1949) is Chairman of the Kalyani Group, one of India’s leading industrial companies with subsidiaries in the U.S., Europe and China. He is also Chairman and Managing Director of Bharat Forge Ltd., the largest manufacturer in the world of heavy forgings, especially of automotive forgings. He received degrees in Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology in Pilani, India, and from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, U.S. Baba Kalyani is a member of several Indian and international boards and commissions and advises the Indian government. Also, he chairs the Pratham Pune Education Foundation which provides education to children from poor families in the city of Pune, India.
