Excellence Award Ceremony 2010
Prize winners received their Excellence Awards from Kiel Institute's President Dennis Snower in a ceremony on June 20, 2010 (from left : Hartmut Egger, University of Bayreuth; Veronica Guerrieri, University of Chicago; Sami Vähämaa, University of Vaasa). The fourth prize-winner, Edward Miguel ( University of California at Berkeley) could not participate in the ceremony for family reasons. The ceremony was attended by more than 200 representatives from academia, politics and business, including Nobel-laureate Paul Krugman and WTO Director General Pascal Lamy.
