Future Themes
The list of conferences presently at the planning stage is as follows:
- The future of health insurance: Life-long protection for consumers and the efficient financing of medical innovation
- The global response to infectious diseases: Public health and private incentives
- The health gradient in wealth: Implications for health policy and medical practice
- Environmental health
- Disease prevention and disease management in aging populations: Long-term consequences of the global obesity epidemic and the proliferation of chronic conditions
- Efficient health policies for aging populations: Changing priorities and organizational adjustments in national health systems
- Building the information infrastructure for the global health economy: Hardware, software and evidence-based medicine
This list is preliminary, and the title and focus of individual events can be changed if and when a better proposal is being made. We welcome proposals from any member of the partnership, from the scientific advisory council, as well as from any interested outside scholar or stakeholder.
